As a criminal defense and civil rights investigator I have interviewed many witnesses, organized voluminous materials, found and vetted forensic experts, created timelines, and researched legal issues.  I meticulously review and catalog discovery material, develop witness tables and summaries, and produce high-quality investigative reports.  I work public defender, private, and contingency cases, traveling throughout the state, and meeting a wide cross-section of people.

The cases I have investigated include claims of bullying, domestic violence, sexual assault, kidnapping, and murder.  I commonly talk to people about confidential, highly sensitive, and emotional matters, with a demonstrated ability to maintain calm and develop rapport.

I take seriously the duty to verify allegations.  DNA exonerations, available in only a small fraction of cases, tell us the system makes mistakes, and innocent people go to prison.  Investigation is the key to avoiding that tragic result.
